Although the Red eagles jumped out to a quick 2 goal lead and kept it through the first period, the Green Giants equalized it with 2 of their own in the 2nd. They continued to have strong game play in the 3rd and jumped ahead by 2 goals. With only 2 minutes left in the 3rd period, the Green Giants didn't preserve the win and allowed the Red Eagles to tie the game with seconds remaining.
