Green Giants 2 Red Eagles 5
The Green Giants came out of the gate strong and the first period ended at a scoreless tie. Ethan made stop after stop in the 2nd period and although the Giants scored 2, they had many empty net chances where their shots did not hit their target and missed these opportunities to take a strangle hold on the scoreboard. They led 2-1 entering the 3rd period. Unfortunately the Giants allowed the relentless opposition to score 4 unanswered goals. Once again, we hope that the Giants learned from their opposition's consistent effort until the final horn.
