Peewee AE advance to OMHA Semi-Finals
What a great Quarter Final series between two talented teams. Every player on the ice left everything they had out there. The series was truly back and forth with Burlington winning the first game and Tecumseh
taking the next two.
Tecumseh then had the chance to eliminate Burlington in game 4 at home on Saturday night. Burlington determined to take it back to their house managed to pull off a 1-0 upset to send the series back to Burlington. With a heart breaking loss at home, Tecumseh dusted themselves off and headed up the 401 to Burlington for the series deciding 5th game. With tensions high and with Tecumseh backs against the wall. The Tecumseh Eagles manage to pull off a 1-0 win to send them to the OMHA Semi-Finals.
We want to send out a special thanks to the Burlington Eagles Team and parents who demonstrated great class and sportsmanship during the entire series. Their coaches who took time to come congratulate our boys even after a heart breaking loss and wish us well in our next round.
Our Tecumseh Peewee AE team opens their OMHA Semi-Final round this weekend. We hope to have as much support as possible both away and at home. Let’s pack the arena with Eagle pride.
