Championship Game: Kings 3 Sharks 1
What a nailbiter! Scoring started right after the drop of the puck and within 30 seconds the Sharks took a 1-0 lead. Zac and Giuliano scored back to back in the 2nd period. The 3rd period was filled with end to end plays and loads of scoring chances and both goalies closed the door. With 3 minutes left in the game a penalty was called on the Kings. Then the Kings received a questionable bench penalty for mild inquiry about seeing 2 teams on the ice. The Kings regained their composure and played their hearts out, killing off the 2 penalties. Then with their goalie pulled, Zac chipped the puck past a sprawling defenceman and Giuliano scored into the empty net sealing the victory.
What a game! What an end to an exciting season! Both teams should be very proud of this game.
