U13A Eagles Tournament Champions!
The U13A Tecumseh Eagles headed up the 401 this past Family Day weekend to compete in the 2nd Annual Josh Bailey Tournament in Clarington, ON.
From the drop of the first puck, it was evident that the Eagles were determined to bring home gold. After posting an undefeated record in group play, the Eagles advanced to the quarter finals winning convincingly over the Sudbury Wolves. On Sunday, the Eagles were relentless moving the puck and out working their opponents every step of the way towards a tournament win over the hosts Clarington Toros.
The weekend was a great example of team work and effort which resulted in every forward on the scoresheet backed by a stubborn defense and solid goal tending not allowing a goal in the semi’s or finals. Six (6) different players were named game MVPs! Opposing parents congratulated our efforts and team play.
Congratulations to Coach Jeff Smith and the entire coaching staff along with the Eagles players on an outstanding weekend.
