WECHU Covid-19 Rule Change
Dear Eagle Families,

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water... yet another change has come our way regarding vaccination requirements.

Notwithstanding the OMHA Oct 31st double-vaccination deadline (which is still in effect), yesterday the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) implemented a "full vaccination" approach for all participants and spectators in any and all Essex County facilities, effective October 1st (this Friday).

The WECHU's letter can be found here.

We share in your frustration; however, we do note that the WECHU has in mind the best interests of all participants. Please also note that this is a policy that impacts all facilities in Essex County.

The TSMHA and Town of Tecumseh is committed to adhering to these standards and providing you with updated information as it becomes available.

Ultimately, the WECHU requirements mean that players who have started their vaccine protocol but will not be completed by October 1, will not be eligible to play until after the 14-day waiting period has expired following their second dose.
