2020-21 Season Update
First, we like to extend our thanks to the entire TSMHA membership for your patience and resolve...

For the collective - our players, parents, coaches, referees and all of our volunteers have assisted in the navigation through these unprecedented times, and made the best of what was, and viewed as a helpless situation.  Sadly, as we look back on the last 2 months since our players last left Tecumseh Arena, there are things that are simply beyond anyone's control.

Please note that as of Feb 1st, the Bluewater League associations have agreed to cease all cohort hockey activities for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

It's with sincere regret that TSMHA announces the cancellation of the planned "Winter Session".  All arenas across Windsor/Essex have removed most, if not all of their ice and the unknown is still dictating the pace.   Our current Public Health restrictions, the provincial lockdown, and the lack of visibility to what changes may be coming in the spring has made it impossible to provide viable hockey programming this winter.

However, it is the hope that things will continue trending in the right direction.  The TSMHA Board Of Directors have been meeting frequently to update the current situation.  Our players and teams from all Tiers still have 3 weeks remaining from the unfinished "Fall Session" that came to an abrupt halt at the end of November.
It is still our intention, while working closely with the Town Of Tecumseh, to finish the final 3 weeks when it is safe to do so.  Albeit a moving target, we hope the end of March/beginning of April will allow us to get everyone back on the ice - safely!

Furthermore, at a later date, TSMHA will look for potential opportunities to offer skills development (pending available ice) through to the end of May 2020.

For those members that have paid for the entire season (dating back to March 2020 through June 2020), we will be working to offer a credit for the upcoming 2021-22 season, or process refunds as requested.  Our finance committee will look to finalize those options for our members in the coming days - please be patient as we work to ensure things are processed correctly.

If you haven't already, be sure to follow us on Facebook & Twitter as keep your eyes on your email and our website for further updates as they become available.

Until then - stay positive and stay safe!
