Understanding the New OHF Player Movement Policy for U10 and Older
The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has introduced important changes to player movement for U10 and older age groups in travel/competitive hockey. These updates aim to provide more opportunities and flexibility for players while ensuring consistency across member organizations.

What This Means for TSMHA
- The TSMHA Board has formed an Open Boundary Committee to ensure all aspects of this transition are managed effectively.
- A Head Coach Round Table Discussion will be held to gain valuable insights and feedback.
- Travel coach evaluations will take place from January 1 to February 1 to support head coach selection by February 15.
- The Travel Head Coach application process is OPEN NOW! Coaches can apply by completing the form here. Applications will be accepted until January 31, with selected coaches announced by February 15.
- Rep Player Tryouts will occur at the end of April or early May, with the process to be determined based on finalized Bluewater and OMHA guidelines.
