To ensure the safety of players, coaches, and attendants, we kindly remind all parents and guardians of the following guidelines provided by the Town of Tecumseh and rink staff:
1. No Lingering in Hallways:
Parents are asked not to linger in the hallways. Please wait for players at the exits to Rink A or Rink B unless you are assisting younger players in the dressing room.
2. Safety for Teams Entering & Exiting the Rink:
Teams should wait until 5 minutes before the start of their game to enter either rink. This timing helps clear traffic between games and reduces congestion.
3. Bench & Rink Access:
- Rink B: Only coaches and players are allowed behind the Rink B bench. Parents should stand on the opposite side of the Zamboni doors.
- Rink A: No one should be on the bench side of the arena between the Zamboni doors and home bench unless authorized.
4. No Climbing or Playing on Equipment:
All players and children are asked not to climb, sit, or play on the red or black ice dividers in both Rink A and Rink B. These are costly, on-ice equipment only and are not safe for off-ice play.
5. Supervision:
Parents, please keep an eye on your children while in the arena. Running around the rink area is unsafe and can lead to accidents.
