Parents,
Players who are born in 2015 are eligible to tryout for our TSMHA U9 "A" team. Please note that all players trying out for our U9 "A" team must purchase a $75 travel pass to cover the costs of running the pre-skates and evaluation skates. Please login into your HCR (Hockey Canada Registration) and add the $75 travel pass to your account. Additionally, our registrar Michelle Russell, will be present at the first skate to collect the travel pass in cash should you prefer that method of payment.
The 2023/2024 U9 A team will be selected during the evaluation skates listed below. As per the Hockey Canada U9 Pathway, players will be afforded 4 "pre-skates" prior to 3 "tryout/evaluation" skates.
- Wed. Sep 6th 5:45-6:45 PM Tecumseh Rink B - Pre-Skate
- Fri. Sep 8th 5:00-6:00 PM Tecumseh Rink A - Pre-Skate
- Sun. Sep 10th 2:00-3:00 PM Tecumseh Rink A - Pre-Skate
- Mon. Sep 11th 4:45-5:45 PM Tecumseh Rink B - Pre-Skate
- Fri. Sep 15th 5:00-6:00 PM Tecumseh Rink A - Tryout Skate
- Sat. Sep 16th 1:00-2:00 PM Tryout Game @ Windsor (Capri Rink A)
- Sun. Sep 17th 2:00-3:00 PM Tryout Game VS Windsor (Tecumseh Rink A)
- Mon. Sep 18th 4:45-5:45 PM Tecumseh Rink B - Tryout Skate (If Needed)
Please continue to refer to the DEV U9 A link under "Team Finder" on our TSMHA site for any news or updates to the schedule. We do not anticipate any changes to the schedule from now until September but it is possible. All new information and updates for U9 A will be posted to the U9 A team site under "News" so please continue to check the TSMHA website regularly during tryouts.
Also, please email Head Coach Jeff Chausse with your players information if you intend to bring your player out for U9 A. This will assist Jeff with preparing a practice plan for the pre-skates and evaluation skates.
