Open Boundaries (New for 2025-26!)
For the first time, TSMHA is embracing open boundaries, allowing players from outside the traditional catchment area to join. This change broadens access, expands the talent pool, fosters diversity, and allows for more competitive teams and a more prosperous hockey community.
Tecumseh Arena Renovations & Dedicated TSMHA Spaces
Significant upgrades to the Tecumseh Arena will create a state-of-the-art environment for players, fans, and teams, enhancing both the training and game-day experience.
The TSMHA-exclusive Dressing Room offers our U18A players a unique, professional space for both games and practices. It enhances team unity, instills pride, and supports a high-performance environment.

The Eagles Nest is the TSMHA office and boardroom space located above Rink A’s benches, reserved exclusively for TSMHA coaches and players.
TSMHA has a 1,600+ square foot equipment room which serves all teams with individual storage space and a wide array of gear and training aids, including pucks, apparel, and sticks. Teams will always be fully equipped and ready to perform.
Elite Coaching and Mentorship
TSMHA offers players access to top-tier Hockey Canada instructors and experienced coaches, ensuring players receive the highest standard of mentorship and development.

Enhanced On-Ice Training for 2025-26
The 2025-26 season brings new opportunities for players to sharpen their skills and elevate their game. Rep teams will benefit from increased weekly ice time, offering more opportunities for skill development, strategic play, and team bonding.
Goalie Training
These sessions are designed to provide position-specific coaching, helping goalies refine their technique and build confidence outside regular team practices.
- TSMHA is providing offsite weekly goalie training sessions, specifically designed to offer goalies specialized coaching and skill development outside of regular team practices. This focused training will help goalies refine their techniques and become more competitive in their positions.
- Throughout the entire season, goalies will have access to a dedicated goalie coach who will provide personalized workout plans, conduct equipment reviews, and offer mentorship. This support will ensure that each goalie has the tools and guidance needed to improve both their on-ice skills and off-ice preparation.
Off-Ice Development & Pre-Game Warm-Ups
Weekly sessions at PowerTech’s cutting-edge training facility will focus on hockey-specific strength, conditioning, and injury prevention. Teams can prepare both mentally and physically with structured pre-game warm-up sessions.

Coaching Tools and Resources including LiveBarn
Teams will receive subscriptions to Hockey Coaching Tools and Resources, providing coaches with drills, strategies, and training materials to maximize player development.
A subscription to LiveBarn will be provided to each team, enabling video reviews of games and practices to enhance performance analysis.
