As the most exciting day of the season draws to a close, I thank each and every player for playing your hearts out all season.  I also thank each Team's Coaching Staff for an incredibly close and fun season. Should be a great trio of Championship games on Saturday: 11:30 am - C CHAMPIONSHIP: Black Aces (Team 3) vs Red Fury (Team 5) 12:30 pm - B CHAMPIONSHIP: Stars (Team 4) vs Volts (Team 6) 1:30 pm -  A CHAMPIONSHIP: Kings (Team 2) vs Sharks (Team 1) Good luck to all of the teams!   Thanks for giving it your 110% all season! 

The Peewee Division is in the final stages of the playoffs.  It is incredible how teams have turned it up about 10 notches in their quest for the top seeds in the playoffs.  This past weekend fans were entertained with 3 extremely close match ups which ended in 1-0, 1-0 and 2-2 scores.  This tightness of games has resulted in a log jam in the playoff standings.   It will come down to the outcome of each Team's last round robin game next weekend to see who will by playing for which Division Title.  Well done players!  See you at the rink!  

A travel team had a charity event for one of it's players Moms that passed away recently.  We have been asked if we can bump 2 of our normal time slots for this coming Saturday to accommodate their playoff game.   The new times are shown on the online League Calendar.  Teams 3 & 4 remain the same at 2 pm.  Teams 1,2,5,6 are the ones affected. Our new practice times are: Peewee 3 and Peewee 4: remains at 2:00 pm rink A PeeWee 1 and PeeWee 2: 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM Rink A   PeeWee 5 and PeeWee 6: 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM Rink A

The Peewee regular season games wrapped up today.  In a tight race, the Kings were crowned with the Convenor's Cup for most points in the regular season and get awarded with a pizza party at Boston Pizza Tecumseh. Congratulations! Next week we go full swing into the start of the round robin playoffs.   Teams have come so far in development over the course of the regular season and it will be exciting to see who will take the A, B & C crowns in the playoffs Day of Champions this season.
