TSMHA U18 A Wins Detroit Cup Championship
The Tecumseh-Shoreline U18 A team continues to impress.
Although they compete in the Bluewater League U18 A Division as a full roster of 2009-born players facing mostly 2008/Major teams, they embraced a new challenge this past weekend - a 2009 AA tournament in Michigan.
It was their first opportunity this season to compete head-to-head against players their own age. After a hard-fought round-robin loss to a strong Troy Sting AA team, the Eagles bounced back with a resilient performance in the Championship game, capturing a 2-1 overtime victory in the Final.
The weekend also featured a special moment: the unveiling of the team’s third jersey. The players took the ice in vintage Shoreline Buccaneers sweaters, proudly celebrating the 30th anniversary of Tecumseh-Shoreline Minor Hockey.
A memorable weekend for the team, coaching staff and organization. Congratulations!
