2023-2024 Day of Champions, News (Tecumseh-Shoreline Eagles)

Hello Parents, Players and Coaches,

Our End of Season Day of Champions is quickly approaching and we want to update you on a few things.

** SCHEDULE UPDATED 1-Feb-2024 **

 

• All teams will play one game each with exception of U13 as there are only 3 teams.
  • U13 - Winner of the Semi Final Game will Play Sunday in Championship Game
  • U13 on Saturday only the team that is not moving on to Sunday's will attend the ceremony.
• After all games players and their families are welcome to join us up stairs for a celebration
• FOOD & AWARDS
  • Games played before 11am will receive McDonald's Happy Meals with Chocolate Milk
    • For players who are lactose intolerant we will have Kool-Aid Jammers
  • Games played after 11am will be getting PIZZA 

• Throughout the Weekend we will be issuing the following awards to coaches and volunteers
  • Ron Mireault - VOLUNTEER of Year Award
  • John Cleminson - COACH of the Year Award
  • Danny Blais - REFREE or LINESMAN of the Year Award
  • Kyle Chinnery - Most SPORTSMANSHIP on\off the ICE - PLAYER AWARD

• Multiple Coaches and Players maybe recipients of these awards based on the number of submissions received.

• Parents and Coaches are able to submit nominations for the above awards to be presented throughout the weekend of March 2 & 3, during the Team Ceremonies.
• We ask that if you wish to nominate someone that you make your submissions in writing with a writeup of Why you feel said person should be chosen. We ask for details so that they can be shared when issuing the awards to make it meaningful.
• All submission are due no later than February 15, 2024 to michelle.russell2009@hotmail.ca
