Orange Crush - News and updates
Parents and players,

Just some information to pass your way regarding some of our upcoming events:
This can also be found directly on our team page: www.tsmha.net/Teams/1296/

1) Windsor Spitfires Mini Game

As a team (AP's INCLUDED), we need to confirm ticket counts.  As previously communicated, your child/player's ticket is free.  We need to confirm how many additional tickets your family needs this weekend.  Each additional ticket is $15 - Coach Jeremy is handling all monies.  Please see myself, or one of the coaching staff members to confirm your counts either Saturday or Sunday

The entire team will be seated together, likely in the east end of the rink

As far as what to expect...your child needs to bring their hockey gear and stick to the game.  We will gather just outside the south gate (right next to Tim Hortons/Spitfires shop) @ 6:20PM.  Before heading in, I will be having a group conversation with the team regarding proper etiquette - we are representing TSMHA, and need to remember this event is a privilege - we need to be respectful with the given opportunity.  Just before the midway mark of the 1st period, we will make our way down to the dressing room

Novice #1 Green (who we practice with) will also be taking part in the mini game, it is yet to be determined if the mini game itself will be half ice or full ice

I fully understand that most, if not all of you, will want to shoot video and/or pictures - and I encourage you to do so!  The coaching staff will do its best to help direct parents where to go to take your shots - be prepared as we may end up on the opposite end of the rink!  In my conversations with the Spitfires, we have already been asked to participate in possible future dates for the mini-game in the new year - stay tuned!

2) Hockey For Hospice

Registration for this tournament was $150 (I have arranged this payment already from my own pocket).  Each player is asked to bring $10.  Please see Coach Jeremy this weekend

I am still awaiting firm dates/times/venues - as soon as I have this information, I will pass it on immediately via email and the website.  Again, all players are on our official rosters:

CONFIRMED AS NOT PLAYING: (If anything has changed, please let me know ASAP)
Eric Wood (Vacation), Leo H (Vacation)

PENDING:
Eric Wintermute

All other players are confirmed as participating

Pledges: We have been asked to bring our pledge forms and monies to the tournament itself, so please keep getting pledges and keep all monies with you until that time

3) Potential exhibition games vs. Riverside @ WFCU

TSMHA has asked if our team would be interested in playing exhibition games against Riverside Novice house league teams at the WFCU.  Referees have been paid for - at this point, I haven't been told there is any additional cost to you.  These game times would be at either 8am/9am/10am on Sundays (play our game in Tecumseh then drive over to WFCU for the next).  Riverside has 5 teams within Novice, leaving 1 team with a practice instead of a game - naturally all their parents have been asking for more games

Please visit http://tsmha.net/Teams/1296/ for a poll regarding interest in participating (RIGHT HAND COLUMN BELOW SCHEDULE)
